Job Purpose

The role serves as the main section head for managing technology platforms, used by technical teams to develop and operate digital systems, ensuring their stability, integration, and availability. It provides a flexible digital working environment that supports execution efficiency and delivery quality.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

Strategic Planning

  • Prepare the Platforms Management Section's operational plan in line with the overall IT infrastructure and digital operations strategy.
  • Manage performance indicators, monitor, and measure progress.
  • Provide inputs for budgets and operational plans.
  • Stay updated on best practices and ensure their application.
  • Develop processes, procedures, models, and tools for automation needs, in coordination with stakeholders and according to approved policies.
  • Implement monitoring systems and prepare compliance and performance reports.

Operational Management

  • Supervise daily team activities and ensure work is carried out as per defined processes.
  • Take operational decisions related to development or escalate issues when necessary.
  • Operate and manage digital technology platforms used by technical teams for digital system development and operation.
  • Configure and prepare digital working environments (development, testing, etc.) to ensure readiness for use by IT teams.
  • Prepare and integrate digital tools and link them within a unified, stable environment.
  • Monitor platforms daily to handle operational issues or malfunctions affecting team efficiency.
  • Manage access permissions and settings as per role requirements.
  • Apply technical updates regularly to ensure stability and improvements.
  • Provide operational support for technical teams during deployments or new project setup.
  • Collect and analyze usage data to recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Document configurations, settings, and operational procedures, maintaining them in technical records.
  • Prepare periodic reports on platform readiness and usage across teams.
  • Submit incident reports including root cause analysis and corrective actions taken.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
