Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hotel Contracting Manager, located in Jeddah. Responsibilities for this role include negotiating and managing contracts with hotels, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, and maintaining strong relationships with hotel partners. The role involves analyzing market trends to identify potential opportunities, collaborating with the sales team to support business initiatives, and aligning with budget goals. The Hotel Contracting Manager will also oversee customer service operations and maintain high standards of service delivery.

Main Responsibities:

Contract Negotiation

Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions with hotels (FIT, groups, long stays, etc.).

Secure allotments, release periods, and favorable cancellation policies.

Ensure contracts comply with company standards and profitability goals.

Supplier Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners.

Act as the main point of contact for hotels regarding agreements and operational issues.

Monitor hotel performance and resolve disputes or service issues.

Market Analysis & Rate Competitiveness

Research market trends and competitor pricing.

Ensure contracted rates are competitive and aligned with seasonal demand.

Identify new hotel partners to expand the portfolio.

Inventory & Allotment Management

Manage room allocations and availability in coordination with hotels.

Monitor booking patterns and adjust allotments as needed.

Work closely with the reservations team to optimize inventory usage.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all contracts are properly documented and stored.

Verify hotels meet quality, safety, and legal standards.

Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

Coordinate with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to align hotel offerings with client needs.

Provide training and updates on contracted hotels to sales teams.

Support marketing campaigns with hotel information and promotions.

Financial & Performance Reporting

Track hotel performance, revenue contribution, and profitability.

Prepare regular reports on contracted hotels and market trends.

Monitor payment schedules and resolve billing discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and build lasting partnerships
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in contracting and vendor management
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field is preferred
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage
