Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring a high standard of food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities include overseeing food storage, preparation, cooking, and plating procedures, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, managing and training kitchen staff, and collaborating on menu development. The Sous Chef will also ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards and contribute to providing an exceptional dining experience for 7Ribs' guests.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating excellence
  • Experience in team management, including training kitchen staff and coordinating tasks
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and inventory management
  • Menu planning, recipe development, and creativity in culinary concepts
  • Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and adapt to changing demands
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a recognized establishment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Knowledge of smoked meat is preferrable.
