Job Summary:

Legal Specialist for litigation section who can support Petrolube's lawyers by managing communication with outside counsel litigators, charge with the debt collection, review draft claims and defense and assisting in the case strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Debt Collection

  • Direct communication with customers who are behind on payments after consultation with the finance and sale departments.
  • Conducting meetings with defaulted customers to reach solutions satisfactory to the company.
  • Preparing reports on the customer's status and the outcomes of meetings and negotiations.

Investigation and Inquiry

Investigating and searching for the assets and funds of debtors, whether visible or hidden using legal and regulatory means to uncover sources of income or assets that can be seized or used in enforcement procedures.

Litigations

  • Representing the company before courts, judicial authorities, and relevant committees.
  • Drafting legal memos that will be submitted to the court or reviewing what have been prepared by external lawyers to ensure alignment with the company's interests.
  • Update the litigation ledger

External Coordination

  • Coordinating with external lawyers regarding ongoing cases.
  • Submitting legal recommendations to management on optimal procedures for debt recovery or protecting the company's interests.

Document and Report Preparation

  • Preparing periodic reports on collection files and legal disputes.
  • Maintaining legal documents and records related to legal and collection files.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in law
  • Valid license to practice law.
  • experience not less than 3 years and not more than 4 years.
  • Ability to travel across the K.S.A for meetings with customers and government agencies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to negotiate with the defaulted customers.
  • Good knowledge of court procedures, especially enforcement and commercial courts
