Role Summary

SASEC Engineering is seeking a motivated and proactive
Fresh I&C Engineer
to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with foundational knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, automation, and industrial processes. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will support the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the
    design and development of instrumentation & control systems
    , including wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&IDs.
  • Support
    selection and specification of field instruments
    (transmitters, sensors, control valves, analyzers, etc.).
  • Participate in
    site surveys
    , data collection, and preparation of technical reports.
  • Help perform
    instrument calibration, testing, and loop checks
    during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Assist with
    PLC, DCS, and SCADA configuration
    , logic testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to prepare
    engineering documents
    such as datasheets, I/O lists, cable schedules, and control narratives.
  • Support troubleshooting of instrumentation or control issues under supervision.
  • Ensure all project work complies with
    industry standards, safety protocols, and QA/QC requirements
    .
  • Attend internal training sessions and continuously build technical competency in automation and control technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Instrumentation & Control Engineering
    , Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of:
  • Industrial instrumentation and control principles
  • PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems
  • Process control fundamentals
  • Electrical drawings and P&IDs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from senior engineers.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profibus, HART, Ethernet/IP).
  • Internships or final-year projects related to automation, process control, or instrumentation.
