About the Role:
To provide required support for Health, Safety & Security (HS&S), technical advice and guidance to Regional Managers and employees to reinforce a positive Health, Safety and Security culture across the SDL Almarai region encompassing all functions.

Area of responsibilities:

  1. Identify hazards and risk control measures using a risk based approach.
  2. Provide required support to the Senior HSS Advisor to improve property risk management by means of hazard analysis and education.
  3. Provide required support to the Senior/ Regional HSS Advisor in carry out accident investigation & Identify causes, conditions and preventative measures.
  4. Provide required support to the Senior/ Regional HSS Advisor to identify HS&S interventions and initiatives to reduce the number of accidents across the regions.
  5. Facilitate and provide required support to the Senior/ Regional HSS Advisor to coordinate with senior managers and safety teams to ensure that regional HS&S related training requirements are in place.

Requirements:

  • Ideally International General certificate (NEBOSH) or level 3 safety qualification.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering /risk management.
  • A member of a safety related professional institute such as IOSH or IIRSM.
  • Good knowledge in MC Office.
  • Managing health, safety and security in a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication English skills.
