About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled
QHSE Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with QHSE policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and surveillance to maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analysis.
  • Implement and maintain QHSE documentation and reporting systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and corrective action follow-ups.
  • Deliver training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for staff.
  • Support certification audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate emergency drills and safety preparedness activities.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (
    Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related discipline
    ).
  • Preferred certifications:
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead/Internal Auditor
  • ISO 14001:2015 Lead/Internal Auditor
  • ISO 45001:2018 Lead/Internal Auditor
  • NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in QHSE roles.
  • Experience in
    manufacturing, construction, engineering services, or industrial environments preferred
    .
  • Hands-on experience in implementing QHSE procedures, internal audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Quality Management: ISO 9001, process mapping, documentation, corrective actions, nonconformance reporting.
  • Health & Safety: ISO 45001, JSA, risk assessments, Permit-to-Work, emergency response, OSHA standards.
  • Environment: ISO 14001, waste management, environmental impact assessments.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to train and guide staff.
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
