Job Summary

The Technical Manager is responsible for leading and managing all technical functions of the company's

engineering and architectural works, serving as both the design authority and technical support center for the

contracting business. The role covers the full spectrum of concept design, detailed design, shop drawings

production, technical coordination, and value engineering, ensuring that all deliverables are practical,

constructible, and fully aligned with project and client requirements. The Technical Manager oversees multidisciplinary

design teams, ensures integration between office and site, and drives quality, efficiency, and

technical excellence across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead the in-house design team in developing concept, detailed, and construction-level designs.


• Oversee and coordinate the production of design, shop drawings and as-built drawings across all

disciplines.


• Ensure all deliverables comply with project specifications, codes, and construction requirements.


• Review and validate all design and shop drawings for technical soundness, constructability, and safety.


• Lead coordination between architectural, civil, structural, MEP, and landscape disciplines.


• Support procurement by reviewing and approving technical submittals and material data.


• Implement rigorous QA/QC systems for all design and technical submissions.


• Act as the technical bridge between designers, project management, clients, and construction teams.


• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects, fostering design creativity and

professional growth.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil/Structural Engineering.


• Minimum 20–25 years of professional experience in design, project management, and construction

coordination.


• Extensive experience in design development, shop drawings production, and constructability analysis.


• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary design and technical teams.


• Proficiency in engineering and design tools (Etabs, AutoCAD, BIM, Microsoft Office, etc.).


• Strong knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC) and Saudi Building Code (SBC).


• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
