Position Overview
The Co-op Trainee Industrial Engineering role offers hands-on learning within a professional engineering, construction, and cost management environment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This structured trainee position provides exposure to multiple disciplines and project functions, supporting early-career development for Saudi National industrial engineering students through real project participation and rotational assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and perform a variety of industrial engineering tasks by applying basic engineering techniques and analytical methods
- Participate in a structured rotational program that may include exposure to project controls, procurement, construction management, and engineering disciplines
- Support assigned teams with data collection, basic analysis, documentation, and coordination tasks
- Utilize technical manuals, procedures, and directives to ensure compliance with applicable codes and company policies
- Develop familiarity with engineering standards, codes, and internal processes
- Assist with preparation of basic reports, logs, and documentation under supervision
- Support day-to-day engineering and project activities as assigned
- Perform additional responsibilities aligned with training objectives and project needs
Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program at an accredited college or university
Completion of typically 3 or more years of the industrial engineering curriculum
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
Willingness to learn and adapt within a professional project environment
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
