Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Production Manager with over 14 years of experience in aluminum manufacturing (extrusion, rolling, casting, or similar processes). The candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations, driving efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute daily production schedules to meet targets
  • Supervise and guide production teams, operators, and shift supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor plant machinery, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance.
  • Implement process improvements using Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma tools.
  • Track and report KPIs productivity, OEE, downtime, waste reduction, etc.
  • Coordinate with quality, maintenance, planning, and supply chain departments.
  • Ensure raw material availability, tool/die management, and resource optimization.
  • Conduct RCA for defects and take corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Key Skills:

Aluminum Extrusion, Metal Processing, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Production Planning, Plant Operations, Aluminium Rolling, Foundry Operations, Quality Management, Maintenance Coordination, Manufacturing, Team Management, 5S, OEE, Root Cause Analysis, ERP (SAP preferred)

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Production Engineering
  • Minimum 14 years of hands-on experience in aluminium manufacturing
  • Strong leadership, planning, and people management skills
  • Exposure to ISO, quality systems, and safety standards
  • Prior experience in companies like Jindal Aluminium, Hindalco, Bhoruka, Gal Aluminium, etc. preferred

Education:

UG: B.Tech/B.E. Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production
