Position Overview

Our Client a leading mid-size Design Consulting Company in Riyadh supporting multiple government infrastructure projects is seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary infrastructure and high-rise development projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role carries full accountability for delivery, governance, and stakeholder leadership across Roads, Utilities, MEP, and High-Rise developments.

This is a strategic leadership position for professionals with deep consultancy and enabling works experience in GCC mega-project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple large-scale infrastructure and high-rise projects simultaneously.
  • Provide leadership to Project Managers, Engineering Managers, and MEP Heads.
  • Oversee all enabling works, utilities, roads, and vertical construction packages.
  • Drive project governance, quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the primary client-facing leader interacting with authorities and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage project schedules, cost controls, and risk frameworks.
  • Lead full-spectrum MEP enhancements and system coordination.
  • Review and approve: Master schedules | Variations & change orders | Claims & commercials | Final accounts
  • Establish robust project reporting and performance monitoring systems.
  • Provide strategic technical advisory and input into future project planning.

Candidate Profile

  • 20+ years of experience in major infrastructure and high-rise project environments.
  • Strong background in Consultancy / PMC / Enabling Works leadership.
  • Proven capability managing large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Significant exposure to:

o Roads & Infrastructure

o High-rise towers

o MEP coordination

  • Extensive KSA / GCC experience – Mandatory
  • Demonstrated strengths in:

o Mega project delivery

o Stakeholder leadership

o Commercial & risk oversight

o Multi-contractor management

  • Immediate joiners strongly preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction / Infrastructure
  • Master's Degree preferred
