We are seeking a talented and organized Restaurant Dispatcher to join our dynamic team at Apparel Trading Company Limited. In this role, you will be the backbone of our food delivery operations, ensuring that orders are managed and delivered promptly and accurately. Your responsibilities will involve effective communication with kitchen staff, efficient assignment of delivery drivers, and exceptional customer service to address any inquiries or concerns. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and manage incoming food orders from various channels, ensuring accurate logging.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to monitor order preparation and provide status updates.
  • Assign delivery drivers to orders, considering efficiency and customer locations.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding order status and delivery times.
  • Proactively handle delivery issues and delays, offering solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain records of orders and delivery metrics for operational analysis and improvements.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize delivery routes and enhance service efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards during the delivery process.
  • Provide support and guidance to delivery drivers, ensuring they adhere to company policies.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the food delivery industry.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with additional education in hospitality or logistics preferred.
  • Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role, particularly in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant technology for efficient order management.
  • Knowledge of local delivery routes and traffic patterns to optimize delivery assignments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to handle delivery challenges and provide timely solutions.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate order management and customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
  • A positive and customer-centric attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
