Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Risk Manager PMC based in Riyadh. The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and mitigating project risks to ensure the successful delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects. The day-to-day activities include developing risk management strategies, maintaining risk registers, collaborating with stakeholders to address and resolve risk-related challenges, and monitoring projects to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in risk identification, evaluation, and mitigation strategies for complex engineering and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in project management techniques, including maintaining risk registers and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate issue resolution.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively anticipate challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Familiarity with international engineering standards, especially in transportation infrastructure, is a strong advantage.
  • Previous experience in risk management, project management, or consulting roles in the civil or engineering sector.
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline is required; relevant certifications in risk or project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-RMP) are highly desirable.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects in the Middle East is an advantage
