Our newest opportunity is for a talented Public Realm Engineer to join our award winning team in Riyadh, Saudi. This critical role will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects that improve public spaces, streetscapes, and urban environments.

• Developing and implement design solutions for public spaces, including streetscapes, parks, plazas, sidewalks, cycleways, and transport networks, ensuring a safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing public realm.
• Leading and manage public realm projects from concept to delivery, ensuring that they meet project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Working closely with urban planners, landscape architects, architects, and local authorities to integrate engineering solutions into the broader urban context. Facilitate stakeholder consultations and engage with the public when required.
• Providing technical guidance on infrastructure design and construction, including drainage, roadworks, utilities, street furniture, lighting, and accessibility features.
• Ensuring that the public realm project adheres to sustainability principles, integrating green infrastructure, low-carbon materials, and climate resilience.
• Ensuring all designs comply with relevant local, national, and international codes, standards, and regulations, including accessibility and health and safety requirements.
• Overseeing the quality control process, ensuring high standards in engineering design, construction practices, and materials.
• Assisting in the monitoring and ongoing maintenance of completed public realm projects, ensuring they remain functional, safe, and attractive over time.
• Preparing reports, specifications, feasibility studies, and cost estimates, and provide regular updates to project teams, clients, and stakeholders.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5-8 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
