Position: Chief Surveyor (Landscape / Infrastructure / Hardscape Works)

Industry: Landscape Construction / Public Realm / Urban Development

We are hiring a Chief Surveyor to lead all surveying activities on large-scale landscape construction projects in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead and supervise the site survey team (land surveyors, GPS operators, CAD draftsmen).


• Develop, manage, and update survey control networks and benchmarks for the entire project area.


• Oversee setting-out for hardscape, softscape, irrigation networks, utilities corridors, roads, levels/gradients, curb lines, retaining structures, street furniture, and other landscape elements.


• Verify coordinates, levels, as-builts, shop drawings, and IFC drawings before work execution.


• Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Design, and PMO to resolve discrepancies on site.


• Prepare daily/weekly survey reports, as-built data, and handover documentation for consultants/clients.


• Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements:


• Minimum 10+ years total surveying experience, with at least 5 years as Chief / Senior Surveyor.


• Proven experience on large landscape / public realm / boulevard / park / golf course / infrastructure / earthworks projects in KSA or GCC.


• Strong knowledge of grading, levels, finished floor elevations (FFE), and complex softscape/hardscape interfaces.


• Advanced proficiency with Total Station, GPS/GNSS, digital leveling, AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or equivalent).


• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage multiple work fronts in parallel.


• Diploma or Degree in Surveying / Geomatics / Civil Engineering.


• Transferable Iqama or ability to relocate to Riyadh preferred.
