Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer specializing in bridge design and construction to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As a Bridge Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various bridge projects in the region.
- Develop and review bridge designs, ensuring compliance with local and international standards
- Perform structural analysis and calculations for bridge components using advanced software tools
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for bridge projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies
- Conduct site visits to assess existing bridges and monitor construction progress
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Stay updated on the latest bridge engineering technologies and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project updates
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license; Structural Engineering (SE) certification is a plus
- Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge engineering and design
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 and STAAD.Pro
- Strong skills in AutoCAD and bridge design and modeling software
- Experience with various bridge types, including suspension, cable-stayed, and arch bridges
- In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and materials science
- Familiarity with geotechnical engineering concepts related to bridge foundations
- Understanding of Saudi Arabian building codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong project management abilities and attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
