We're looking for a 
Chief Accountant
 with solid experience in 
creative, marketing, branding, or advertising agencies
to lead our financial operations and ensure strong financial governance as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Management

  • Lead the full accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all financial records.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and best practices.

Agency-Specific Financial Operations

  • Oversee project-based costing, retainers, billing cycles, and revenue recognition.
  • Monitor job profitability, overhead allocation, and cost control across creative and production teams.
  • Ensure accuracy of client invoicing, advances, collections, and vendor payments.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management for strategic decisions.
  • Support pricing structures, proposals, and financial modeling for new services.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, taxation (VAT, Zakat), payroll, and WPS requirements.
  • Manage external audits and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial partners.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Client Service, Creative, and Management teams.
  • Support leadership with financial dashboards and performance reports.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience
    , including at least 
    2 years in a marketing, branding, or creative agency
    .
  • Strong knowledge of 
    project-based accounting
    , revenue recognition, and agency financial workflows.
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., 
    Odoo
    , ERP, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
