Job Description:

FPICO Contracting is seeking a
Chief Accountant
to manage all financial and accounting operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations. The role includes preparing budgets, monitoring accounts and reconciliations, controlling cash flow, managing VAT, and handling banking and government transactions to support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full accounting cycle and daily financial operations.
  • Prepare financial statements, periodic reports, and budgets, and analyze variances.
  • Review accounts and monthly/year-end reconciliations.
  • Monitor customer and vendor accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Control cash flow and operating expenses.
  • Manage VAT compliance and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
  • Handle banking operations and coordinate with banks for company transactions.
  • Liaise with government authorities and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Support management in financial decision-making through analysis and reporting.
  • Manage ERP accounting systems and ensure data accuracy and quality.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce – Accounting Department from an accredited university.
  • 5–8 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably in contracting.
  • Experience in managing accounts, preparing financial reports, budgets, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems, especially
    ERP Systems
    .
  • Strong cost control and cash flow management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle all financial responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Strong computer and accounting software skills.
  • Located in Saudi Arabia and ready to join immediately.
