Role Description

Smart Gulf Technologies is seeking a full-time, on-site IT Sales Engineer based in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The IT Sales Engineer will collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide tailored IT solutions such as networking, telecommunication, and surveillance systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying potential customers, preparing proposals, presenting technical solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role will involve working closely with internal teams to design and implement efficient technology solutions for clients while meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding and technical knowledge of LAN/WAN solutions, networking solutions, VoIP systems, and unified communications.
  • Experience in security systems solutions, access control, CCTV and surveillance systems, and smart building technologies.
  • Proficiency in communication skills, client relationship management, and technical presentation to effectively communicate complex IT solutions to clients.
  • Ability to develop and execute technology and sales strategies, leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and meet client needs.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling, wired and wireless solutions, and their integration into client infrastructures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, or CompTIA are a plus.
  • Proven experience in IT sales or technical sales roles, particularly in the technology and telecommunications industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness to work on-site and strong adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
