Role Summary
The Business Operations & Development Lead is responsible for strengthening daily operations, ensuring
efficient coordination between departments, and driving business growth initiatives. This role combines
operational discipline with strategic insight — ensuring that all business processes run smoothly, client
relationships are well maintained, and commercial goals are achieved. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, structured, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining a focus on execution, performance, and continuous improvement. A background in construction, architecture, or the furniture industry is preferred, as this enhances understanding of project-based operations and client needs in design-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution & Coordination
Oversee and coordinate daily operations across departments such as sales, procurement, and project
delivery.
Ensure effective follow-up on running projects, client requirements, and internal tasks.
Maintain clear operational reports and communicate regular status updates to senior management.
Support implementation and adherence to internal systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures
(SOPs).
Team Oversight & Accountability
Supervise and monitor departmental deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
Develop coordination systems for project handovers, milestones, and progress tracking.
Prepare and present weekly summaries highlighting progress, delays, and recommended actions.
Client & Partner Relations
Support senior management in managing key client and partner relationships.
Oversee commercial follow-ups, quotations, proposals, and after-service coordination.
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, offers, and negotiations.
Assist in expanding and maintaining partnerships with vendors, service providers, and other stakeholders.
Business Development Support
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within target markets.
Prepare presentations, proposals, and other business materials.
Support marketing initiatives, lead generation, and client outreach.
Contribute to brand visibility through coordination with marketing and digital teams.
Reporting & Process Improvement
Produce weekly dashboards summarizing operational and sales performance.
Highlight recurring issues and recommend process enhancements.
Ensure compliance with the organization's reporting and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Architecture, Construction
Management, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in operations, business coordination, or commercial support roles.
Background in construction, architecture, or furniture industry strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent command of English and Arabic (or applicable business languages).
Personality & Fit
Highly organized, structured, and proactive.
Strong communicator with a focus on clarity and accountability.
Demonstrates ownership and reliability in managing tasks and deliverables.
Understands commercial and operational processes without overlapping into financial functions.
Committed to growth and long-term organizational success.

Efficiency and clarity of cross-departmental coordination.

Implementation of process improvements and business initiatives.
