Role overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Technology Director's Office. This role will support the Director of Technology in managing strategic initiatives, ensuring execution excellence, and coordinating high-priority projects across departments. The ideal candidate will bring structure, precision, and calm to a high-velocity environment, and will act as the right hand to our Tech Director.
This position is perfect for someone with 4+ years of experience in project management who thrives in startup environments and wants to work at the intersection of technology, innovation, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Technology Director to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables that align with company vision and goals.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize project plans, timelines, meeting minutes, action points, and performance dashboards.
- Monitor and report on the status of multiple concurrent projects, identifying risks and ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth communication, proper resource allocation, and alignment with milestones.
- Organize, lead, and follow up on meetings—ensuring decisions and actions are tracked and executed.
- Provide clear, concise reporting and regular updates to the Technology Director and other stakeholders.
- Manage high-priority initiatives and administrative responsibilities, including support with executive calendar planning and scheduling.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and conduct post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of project management experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong command of project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello).
- Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing demands.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Experience working directly with senior leadership or executives.
- PMP certification is a plus for this position.
