Hull Performance Product Manager

Make an impact and drive improvement

In this role you will be responsible for leading all aspect of product development and design, setting prices, launching new products, supervising advertising campaigns and monitoring sales performance.

You will also have the opportunity to identify product/service features that need to be changed to meet customer needs and liaise with other areas of the organization.

This position offers the great opportunity to work with the product management team and cooperate with colleagues from all over the world.

What you can look forward to in this role

• Contribute to the annual activity plan for Hull Performance portfolio and implement the same in co-operation with the product team.
• Lead a range of the Hull Performance product portfolio (portfolio management, in-phasing, and out-phasing of products).
• Conduct internal and external product training and product launches and positioning of products for our products (hereunder promotional activities).
• Manage the relevant product development projects through the stage gate process
• Product support to global sales force with focus on training.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures regarding Health & Safety and Environment.

Your Key task Include

Strategy Development

• Support the creating and updating of business product strategies in our area in connection with Marine growth strategy
• Ensure an up-to-date knowledge of the global Marine market and trends together with the Solution management team and Go to market strategy team
• Support development and complete our Product Strategy

Product Management

• Drive and ensure the implementation of key initiatives
• Support sales in driving new solutions to key customers
• Monitor and analysis of business performance of our product range
• Project manage product developments and product launches within our product area

What does it take to become our new team member?

• Technical or Business degree preferably (Msc or MBA)
• Proven experience in product management
• Relevant product experience in coatings or in industries related to Marine.
• Strategic attitude with leadership abilities.
• Very high level of drive and motivation.
• Capability and willingness to travel (30%).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
