About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Procurement Manager
to lead all direct and indirect procurement operations across Gulf Central Company. This role will manage sourcing, supplier qualification, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance to ensure cost efficiency, availability, and operational excellence.

You will work at both strategic and tactical levels, drive continuous improvements, and build strong internal and external relationships while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Business Operations

  • Lead and manage procurement of FMCG food SKUs, capital equipment, services, and office supplies.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, and supplier negotiations.
  • Build supplier relationships, manage supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Drive cost optimization, contract adherence, and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure timely requisition processing, product availability, and budget compliance.
  • Establish procurement dashboards and KPIs for performance visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with SFDA, ISO, labor regulations, and internal controls.
  • Conduct procurement analytics to maintain alignment with policies and standards.

Leadership & People Development

  • Provide direction, coaching, and supervision to the procurement team.
  • Foster a strong work culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify training needs and work with HR to execute development plans.
  • Drive performance management, quarterly reviews, and succession planning.
  • Build organizational capability and ensure readiness for future business needs.

Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MIS, Business Management, or related field.

Preferred:

  • Professional Procurement Certification (CIPS, CPSM, etc.).
  • Advanced degree in logistics or management is an advantage.
  • Strong command of English & Arabic.

Experience:

  • 12+ years experience in procurement and related operations.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier markets, and FMCG food categories.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Tier 1 or 2 preferred).

Preferred:

  • Experience in strategic planning, leadership, resource management, and contract management.
  • Proven ability to present and communicate complex information.
