Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Manager – Murex Governance
to serve as the project governance partner for a major Murex MX.3 implementation at one of the largest banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of the project through robust governance, stakeholder management, and strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary governance lead for the Murex MX.3 implementation project, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Treasury, Risk, and Operations to ensure seamless integration and adoption of Murex MX.3.
  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder meetings to drive decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Provide expert guidance on Murex functionalities and best practices, ensuring optimal configuration and usage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, vendors, and consulting partners.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Murex MX.3 Expertise:
    Proven experience with Murex MX.3, particularly in Treasury and Capital Markets modules.
  • Project Management:
    Strong background in consulting and project management, preferably in large-scale system implementations.
  • Banking Domain Knowledge:
    Deep understanding of banking products including Derivatives, Fixed Income, Structured Deposits, FX, and more.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking:
    Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond effectively to complex situations.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    Familiarity with governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices in financial institutions.

Preferred Attributes:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience working in the GCC region, especially within KSA.
  • Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
