Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Steel Structure Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in lighting pole structure design and calculations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design and analyze steel structures, including lighting poles, high masts, brackets, and foundations.


• Perform structural calculations for lighting poles and related components (wind load, deflection, fatigue, etc.).


• Prepare design drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication documents.


• Develop 3D models and connection details using software such as Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or SAP2000.


• Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and constructability.


• Ensure compliance with international and local design codes (AISC, BS, Eurocode, SBC, etc.).


• Support fabrication and site teams with technical clarifications and design updates.

Qualifications & Skills:


• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.


• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in steel structure design, preferably in lighting poles or street lighting projects.


• Strong understanding of steel design principles and fabrication processes.


• Proficiency in Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented engineering environment.

• Knowledge of BIM modeling and coordination.


• Familiarity with manufacturing and fabrication standards.
