We are looking for an experienced Contract & Commercial Manager to oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FIDIC contracts, along with solid experience in managing variations, claims, and cost control. This is a key leadership role focused on protecting the company's commercial interests and ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all contractual and commercial activities across projects.
  • Administer variations (VOs), claims, and contract changes.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and invoicing.
  • Support negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts and subcontracts.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  • Coordinate with project teams on scope, delays, and cost impacts.
  • Prepare and maintain commercial reports and final accounts.
  • Lead and mentor contract administration or commercial staff.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in contract/commercial management.
  • Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
  • Proven experience with variations, claims, and budget control.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and contract management tools.
  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. MRICS, MCIArb) are a plus.
