About the Role
JAS Industries KSA is a newly established signage and branding company under JAS Advertising UAE, focusing on retail projects as well as clients across multiple sectors. We are looking for a hands-on General Manager to build and lead our KSA operations, manage a small but growing team (up to 15–20 staff in phase 1), and drive profitable business growth in close coordination with our UAE head office.
This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, technically strong, and enjoys building systems, teams, and client relationships from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Leadership
- Set monthly and quarterly sales targets for the KSA unit and ensure they are achieved.
- Lead by example through direct sales and key client management.
- Guide, mentor, and support the sales team using strong market knowledge and a target-driven approach.
- Identify new business opportunities in retail, corporate, government, and other sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
2. Operations & Project Management
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of signage and related projects: from inquiry, design coordination, approvals, production, installation, to handover.
- Coordinate with UAE operations for production, technical support, and specialized requirements.
- Ensure all projects are executed as per specifications, on time, and within budget.
- Handle stakeholders across the chain – clients, consultants, main contractors, and suppliers – to ensure smooth execution and approvals.
- Monitor project costs, margins, and cash flow, and ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.
3. Team Management & Administration
- Manage and develop a small team (admin, sales, site, and operations staff) in Riyadh.
- Create a professional, collaborative, and performance-oriented work environment.
- Implement basic processes and systems for reporting, documentation, and internal coordination.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and local regulations.
4. Reporting & Coordination with UAE HQ
- Prepare regular MIS/reports on sales pipeline, project status, profitability, and collections.
- Work closely with the UAE management team on strategy, pricing, key negotiations, and resource planning.
- Represent the KSA unit professionally and maintain strong rapport with UAE leadership.
Candidate Profile
Education & Background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) – mandatory.
- Strong technical understanding of project-based work (drawings, BOQs, site conditions, approvals).
Experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in project-based businesses, ideally in:
- Signage
- Interior fit-out
- Joinery / façade / metal works
- Or similar project/contracting environments
- Proven experience in project management, dealing with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Solid track record in people management, sales strategy, target management, and running a unit/branch profitably.
- Prior experience working in KSA is essential (knowledge of local market, practices, and regulations).

Language & Other Requirements
- Languages (must): English, Arabic, Malayalam, Hindi.
- Valid KSA driving license.
- Must already be available in KSA.
- Immediate joining or very short notice period is preferred.
