Fire Alarm Detection Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install fire alarm systems including detectors, control panels, manual call points, sounders, strobes, and related wiring.
  • Program and configure fire alarm control panels according to design drawings and specifications.
  • Test and verify operation of all detectors, devices, and control panels.
  • Troubleshoot system faults and replace defective components as needed.
  • Report any safety hazards or non-compliance issues immediately
  • Provide technical assistance during system upgrades or modifications

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Fire Alarm Technology field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in fire alarm installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional)
  • Good troubleshooting, wiring, and testing skills.
  • Basic computer skills (for programming and reporting)
