Duty Engineer

Join our pre-opening Engineering team at Jayasom Wellness Resort Amaala. The Duty Engineer will oversee electrical systems across the resort, ensuring smooth operations, safety compliance, and high-quality maintenance while supporting the resort's wellness and sustainability vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Manage preventive maintenance and inspection schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Supervise contractors and coordinate with other departments to support daily operations.
- Respond to electrical issues promptly and maintain detailed maintenance records.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and recommend system upgrades for improved efficiency.
- Assist the Head of Engineering in construction reviews, reporting deficiencies, and ensuring quality and operational readiness for opening.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or certification as a qualified electrical professional
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the hospitality sector
- Proven experience in maintenance or engineering in a resort/hotel
- Experience working with multicultural teams
- Pre-opening experience
