Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Procurement Specialist
to manage local and international purchasing activities for a leading
manufacturing factory in Jeddah
. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in
import procurement
, vendor management, and material sourcing — preferably in the
metal, steel, or pipes manufacturing industry
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle
    local and foreign procurement
    of raw materials, machinery, tools, and consumables.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop
    reliable local and international suppliers
    .
  • Request and compare quotations to ensure
    competitive pricing, quality, and delivery
    .
  • Prepare and issue
    Purchase Orders (POs)
    , ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage
    import documentation
    , LC coordination, and shipment tracking with freight forwarders.
  • Coordinate with
    logistics, finance, and warehouse teams
    for timely clearance and delivery of goods.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers, price lists, and contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers to improve cost efficiency.
  • Support the factory operations team by ensuring
    on-time material availability
    .
  • Prepare periodic
    procurement reports
    and track budget performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering
    .
  • 3–6 years
    of experience in
    procurement or purchasing
    , preferably in
    metal, steel, or pipe manufacturing
    industries.
  • Strong background in
    import purchasing and logistics coordination
    .
  • Proficient in
    ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics)
    and
    MS Office
    .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of
    customs regulations, import documentation, and incoterms
    .
  • Fluency in English
    (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Available to join immediately
    (preferred).
