Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented entry-level Sustainability & Climate - Associate Consultant to support our ESG and sustainability advisory projects. The candidate will assist senior consultants in assessments, data analysis, research, stakeholder engagement, and preparation of sustainability deliverables for clients across sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support
    ESG Gap Assessments
    and help provide logical, actionable, and impactful recommendations for clients.
  • Assist in
    stakeholder engagement activities
    and support the development of ESG communication strategies.
  • Conduct
    peer benchmarking
    and compare ESG performance across sectors and industries.
  • Help evaluate the
    social impact
    of business operations on communities, supply chains, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Support in preparing
    guidelines for clients
    to comply with ESG/sustainability standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, validate, and collate
    sustainability-related data
    from client operations and assist in report preparation.
  • Assist in developing
    ESG strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps
    for clients under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Contribute to writing
    Sustainability, ESG, Integrated Reports
    , and support basic decarbonization analysis.
  • Support in developing
    innovative ESG consulting service offerings
    .
  • Assist in creating
    performance dashboards, ESG due-diligence assessments, and scorecards
    .
  • Participate in
    risk and opportunity assessments
    related to sustainability and climate impacts.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and work effectively with
    cross-cultural teams and clients
    .
  • Develop a working knowledge of global ESG standards and frameworks such as
    BRSR, TCFD, GRI, CDP
    etc.
  • Gain understanding of
    circular economy principles
    and support in identifying implementation solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in
    Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Economics, Business, Social Sciences
    , or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sustainability and ESG data.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn ESG frameworks, climate-related standards, and sustainability best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, research tools, and basic data visualization is a plus.
