About the Role

Join us as a Junior Site Engineer, where you will be instrumental in supporting site operations, particularly focusing on mechanical erection, installation, and piping activities critical to our power plant and industrial projects. What You'll Do

• Erection & Installation Support:
  Assist in planning and executing site erection and installation activities, providing direct support to the mechanical installation works, with a focus on piping systems.
• Work Permit Management:
  Prepare, submit, and track work permit applications for various site activities, ensuring timely approvals from clients and authorities.
• Client Coordination:
  Act as a point of contact for routine client communications regarding work permit approvals and site coordination.
• Site Safety & HSE Compliance:
  Conduct pre-work inspections and safety checks, ensuring strict adherence to site safety procedures and HSE standards.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation:
  Interpret technical drawings (e.g., P&IDs, Isometrics, General Arrangements) to guide site teams and verify installation accuracy.
• Site Inspection & Quality Verification:
  Conduct routine site inspections to verify work quality and progress, assisting in quality verification and inspections.
• Material Handling & Coordination:
  Support material handling and coordination, ensuring materials are available as needed for installation and erected according to specifications.
• Site Records & Documentation:
  Maintain accurate site records, daily progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Resource Allocation:
  Assist in coordinating material and resource allocation efficiently.
• Site Survey & Measurement:
  Support site surveys and measurements to ensure alignment with engineering designs.

What We're Looking For

• Experience:
  Minimum 1 year of hands-on site experience in erection, installation works, and piping systems, preferably within power plant or heavy industrial environments.
• Educational Background:
  Bachelor's degree (BE) in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Key Skills:
• Basic knowledge of site works and erection procedures.
• Understanding of work permit procedures and documentation.
• Piping installation knowledge.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Basic engineering knowledge.
• Familiarity with site safety and HSE compliance.
• Communication:
  Good communication skills (fluent in English) and the ability to interact effectively with clients and project teams. Capacity to pass client interviews for work permit approvals.
• Software Proficiency:
  Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Work Ethic:
  Willingness to work on complete and fast-track projects, adaptable to project requirements and readiness to work on-site for extended durations.
• Personal Attributes:
  Quick learner, team player, punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious.
• Mobility:
  Willingness to be site-based in Dammam, KSA, and immediate availability to join.
