  1. Job Summary:

Providing emergency medical care to patients, responding to medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and critical incidents. Assessing patients' conditions, administering life-saving interventions, and transporting patients to healthcare facilities for further evaluation and treatment

  1. Primary Responsibilities:

  2. Responding promptly to emergency calls, assessing the nature and severity of patients' conditions, and prioritizing care based on the urgency of medical needs.

  3. Performing rapid patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring, airway management, and neurological status evaluation, to identify life-threatening conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
  4. Administering emergency medical treatments and interventions, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillation (AED), oxygen therapy, and intravenous (IV) fluid administration, as indicated by patients' clinical presentations.
  5. Managing medical emergencies, including cardiac arrests, respiratory distress, allergic reactions, seizures, and diabetic emergencies, using established protocols and medical guidelines.
  6. Providing trauma care and stabilization for patients with traumatic injuries, including haemorrhage control, immobilization of fractures, spinal precautions, and wound management.
  7. Performing rapid trauma assessments, triaging patients based on injury severity, and coordinating transportation to trauma centres or appropriate medical facilities for definitive care.
  8. Monitoring patients' condition during transport, reassessing vital signs, administering medications, and adjusting interventions as needed to ensure patient stability and safety.
  9. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts, following documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
  10. Attend and participate in educational activities, and in the orientation and on-going education as new staff.
  11. Flexibility to work different shifts in different areas according to the work needs within the scope of practice in My Clinic.
  12. Participate as an active member on assigned committees and participate with continuous quality improvement activities to improve patient's care and work environment.
  13. Participate in reviewing the standards and policies for the national and international accreditation requirements.
  14. Maintain all time maximum safe environment for patient, family and staff by ensuring safe equipment's, instruments, medications, explosive hazard, crash cart, medical gases, ambulance and implement the infection control procedures & guidelines.

  15. Performing other duties as assigned and submitting the daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.

  16. Education / Professional Qualifications:

  17. Education Degree: Bachelor's degree in emergency medical services (EMS).

  18. Years of Experience: Min 1 year of experience within a related field, preferred.

  19. License: Registry Eligible Status.

  20. Experts & Skills:

  21. Excellent Command of oral and written English & Arabic.

  22. Proficiency in conducting comprehensive patient assessments.
  23. Ability to provide advanced medical interventions and procedures.
  24. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  25. A customer-centric mindset.
  26. High problem-solving skills.
