Job Description- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
- Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
- Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Review safety plans and risk assessments for various projects.
- Provide HSE training and awareness sessions for staff and subcontractors to promote a safety culture.
- Develop and distribute HSE educational materials.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
- Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments in company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies for projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
- Conduct drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness.
- Bachelor of Engineering in construction, civil or rlated field
- Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE roles within building, road, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid SCE registration
