We are seeking Elementary Teachers (Lower Primary) for The Riyadh Schools willing to join us in January 2024.

The Riyadh Schools are one of Saudi's top tier private schools, located in central Riyadh. This is a very well-established American curriculum school with an outstanding reputation in the local community. It is high performing, with high expectations of its students and teachers.

We are seeking experienced, native English speakers with a degree in education and a state or provincial teaching licence. Experience with Common Core standards is considered an asset.

About the RoleRequirements

  • Professionally qualified Teacher with a state or provincial teaching licence 

  • Degree in teachable subject

  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience

  • American curriculum experience preferred

  • US or Canadian Teachers preferred,

  • or similar qualifications and experience with American Common Core Standards

  • Prior international experience preferred 

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary scale: 15,000-18,000 SAR per month, tax-free

  • Fully furnished apartment (1or 2 bedroom), 2 buildings (Nakheel & Tiraan), within walking distance to mall

  • Utilities paid by school

  • Transport to and from school and daily after-school supermarket run

Riyadh Schools is a private school in Riyadh, teaching an international (California Common Core and High School Diploma) and national (Ministry of Education) curriculum as required. The system has seven schools, five of which are international curriculum and two national schools with a total enrolment of 3700 and some 650 staff across a 13 acre site, each with its own facilities, due to a segregated education model from Grades 4-12. The school is accredited and recognised by Cognia (USA). The school partners with Franklin University (Ohio, USA) and its School of Education, to enhance teacher development. The school also partners with Microsoft and other key institutions, including the REAL Madrid Academy, to deliver a world class program for its students

The current Deputy Director General is an Australian and the advisory team is international. Staff within the school are Saudi, Jordanian, American, British, South African and Egyptian. The students are Saudi nationals. The school graduates attend universities mainly in the Kingdom, but also abroad.
