Job Title: Planning Engineer – Project Management Department

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

A leading contracting company specialized in commercial and administrative projects is seeking to hire an experienced Planning Engineer with strong expertise in preparing and monitoring project schedules, time and cost analysis, and resource management. The position is based at the company's head office in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project (Baseline – Updates).
  • Develop weekly and monthly progress reports, S-Curves, and EVM (Earned Value) performance reports.
  • Load resources and costs into scheduling software and monitor actual consumption and variances (Time & Cost Variance).
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Technical Office, and Procurement teams to ensure adherence to the approved schedule.
  • Perform Delay Analysis and support Claims preparation when required.
  • Contribute to improving planning procedures and enhancing overall project monitoring efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, or related discipline).
  • 8 to 12 years of professional experience in project planning within contracting or consultancy companies.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, with sound knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP certification preferred).
  • Strong skills in reporting, analysis, and professional presentation of results.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
