This role ensures product reliability, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement across complex hardware and software ecosystems powering modern data centres.You will bring a strong combination of full-stack engineering expertise, machine learning proficiency, and infrastructure knowledge to build robust, scalable AI systems.Qualcomm is driving the next wave of innovation in data centre technology, delivering cutting-edge solutions that power cloud computing, AI workloads, and hyperscale infrastructure. As a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) for Data Centre Solutions, you will play a pivotal role as the primary quality interface between strategic data centre customers and internal engineering teams. This is an opportunity to join a team at the forefront of Qualcomm's rapidly expanding data centre business—a space poised for tremendous growth and impact.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeAct as the quality advocate for data centre customers, ensuring their requirements and priorities are clearly communicated internally.Drive cross-functional collaboration across Server Hardware, Networking, Storage, Firmware, and Cloud Infrastructure teams.Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for data centre product failures, including server boards, interconnects, and high-density systems.Monitor and minimize RMA cycle time for enterprise-grade components.Develop and present customer-facing quality reports, including reliability metrics and failure trend analysis.Implement data-driven quality improvements using advanced analytics and automation.Ensure compliance with data center standards (e.g., ISO 9001, NEBS, RoHS) and customer-specific requirements.Partner with suppliers, supply chain, CE, and manufacturing teams to maintain high reliability for mission-critical systems.Minimum Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.10+ years in hardware quality engineering or reliability for data centre or enterprise systems.Strong background in server architecture, networking, and storage technologies.Proven track record in customer engagement and timely issue resolution.Expertise in failure analysis, SPC, DOE, and reliability modelling.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to make data driven timely sound decisionsStrong communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting.Preferred QualificationsMaster's in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).Knowledge of thermal, power, and signal integrity challenges in high-density systems.Experience with data analytics tools for quality improvement.Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.Ability to speak ArabicWhat's On OfferApart from working with great people, we offer the below:Salary including housing & transport allowanceStock (RSU's) and performance related bonus16 weeks fully paid Maternity Leave6 weeks fully paid Paternity LeaveEmployee stock purchase schemeChild Education AllowanceRelocation and immigration support (if needed)Life and Medical InsuranceLive+ Well Reimbursement for health and recreational membership feesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.References to a particular number of years experience are for indicative purposes only.
