As a "Field Engineer", you will be recognized as an experienced Field Engineer and you will have the opportunity to be involved in every part of our business in the field: From helping acquire essential data to planning long-term well development, you will organize, run, and report operations. Your work will center around Welltec's Well Completion services and tools.

You will have strong opportunities to learn and develop in this position and help others to learn and develop. Your training will be hands-on and rewarding as you will learn about the energy industry and become familiar with operating our specialized technology. You will be asked to learn a lot but in return you will be given responsibility and support to make your impact early, develop your skillset and start becoming an important part of our business.

• Contributing to Welltec operations on wellsite
• Collaborating with other field engineers
• Participating in planning of operations and assisting with estimating job requirements
• Training and mentoring of junior field staff
• Managing equipment and tools in the field and provide onsite labor
• Leading on-site maintenance when relevant
• Completing relevant paperwork associated with a job on a timely basis
• Scheduling and leading safety reviews
• Performing post-job meetings with clients and collaborating with clients on wellsite when needed
• Recommend measures to improve methods, performance and/or quality
• Complying with Welltec Safety and Quality Policy standards and undergo Welltec training

The ideal candidate has the following profile:

• A relevant degree such as: Engineering, Geology/Geoscience, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Solid experience in working with well design and planning, reservoir engineering, complex well completion operations and two stage cementing application.
• Relevant offshore experience
• Motivation to develop, train and deliver high quality service
• Thrives with ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and on time in cooperation with others
• Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry
• Experience working in a compliance-driven work environment
• Awareness of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE)
• Capable of managing equipment & tools
• A competent troubleshooter with good root cause analysis skills
• Demonstrated mentoring & training skills
• Good English language skills
