Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with solid experience in the marine and offshore industry to lead our financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of offshore business environments, vessel operations, and project-based accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports specific to marine and offshore projects.

  • Manage tax filings and compliance in accordance with local and international maritime regulations.

  • Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and training on offshore cost tracking and reporting standards.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting for fleet operations, maintenance, and offshore contracts.

  • Analyze financial performance across marine assets and projects, providing insights to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a specialization in marine or offshore accounting is preferred.

  • CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting roles within the marine, shipping, or offshore oil & gas sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, maritime accounting standards, and offshore regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for operational and cost details.
