JOB PURPOSE:

Deliver and coordinate a range of fire prevention and rescue training courses either as in-house or externally with approved speciality providers. Participate effectively in assessing fire related training needs of SASREF staff and its contractors through effective evaluation and consultation with Fire Department. Formulate training plans, implement comprehensive On-Job-Training training programs, and provide new employee orientation to a level that will minimize the risk exposure to fire or hazardous situations associated with critical activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Deliver and coordinate range of fire prevention and emergency response training courses. Execute and implement annual training plans as stated in emergency response training matrix and communicate effectively with all OJTs, Managers and staff to ensure their attendance in planned training courses.
  2. Evaluate and consults the Fire department for all training needs, formulates training plans and implements comprehensive On-Job-Training training programs.
  3. Write end of course evaluation for attendees, maintain up-to-date training records for attendance and exam results in Learning Management System, and maintain all paper records in secure archive. Communicate and maintain all necessary data used to feed KPIs dashboards with MTD system analyst.
  4. Review, develop, update and enhance fire and Emergency Response training matrices and materials to support best practice and latest technologies in accordance of the International / national standards followed in SASREF.
  5. Ensure the business processes and work activities, relevant to position, are executed in compliance with SASREF policy, procedures and best practice to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
  6. Lead, motivate, develop and assess the targeted audience expectations to deliver their rule during emergency by achieving training course objectives and maintain expected Return on Investment.
  7. Maintain a proper venue to deliver the classroom training courses and equip it with all required training aids. Ensure an attractive training venue to help in gaining the required knowledge and skills.
  8. Prepare the attendees for in-house examinations (Practical assessments, on-line or paper-based exams) to support the competence development programs.

  • Cybersecurity:

Description:

  • Maintain SASREF's cybersecurity by implementing security best practices.
  • Adhere strictly to all cybersecurity requirements while dealing with SASREF's assets and data
  • Comply always with SASREF's information security policies.
  • Performance Indicators:
    Reporting all suspicious emails including the phishing tests.
  • 0 Failure to the phishing campaign tests.
  • 100% Completion of the assigned cybersecurity awareness courses.
  • 0 Cybersecurity violation or negative behaviour.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • B.Sc. Degree in Fire Engineering or equivalent field experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in refinery fire team and training in the oil / gas industry.

Or

  • Senior fire technician / fire OJT with 10 years' experience and recommended certified trainer.
