Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Technical Director - Infrastructure & Transportation to join our team In this role you will be responsible for making key decisions that relate to continuous improvement within areas of technical operations and managing related team(s). Oversees the work performed to meet project deliverables. Provides support and vision for the company's growing innovative needs.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Leads a team in the execution of technical solutions for initiatives and projects.
  • Resolves obstacles that could slow down or prevent programs from delivering on program objectives.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with external partner organizations.
  • Liaises with other teams to contribute to integrated programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Develops innovative solutions that directly supports the business growth strategy.
  • Leads team development, ensuring there is proper understanding/applying of regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides technical oversight.
  • Stays up to date with current trends and developments.
  • Develops technical talent.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years experience within a technical field or related industry and
  • 2+ years experience in a team leader/managerial role
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skills in team/staff management
  • Ability to understand business goals and translate them into technical requirements and project plans
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail, making decisive decisions
  • Influence strategies and decisions with a high-level of expertise and knowledge
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, relevant to discipline
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
