POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pediatric Consultant to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be expected to provide expert care in pediatric and/or emergency medicine, support junior medical staff, and actively contribute to clinical quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and emergency settingsServe as a clinical leader and role model within the multidisciplinary teamSupervise, teach, and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical studentsParticipate in departmental audits, quality improvement programs, and continuing educationEnsure compliance with institutional policies and SCFHS standards 

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong clinical acumen and leadership skillsCommitment to excellence in patient care and safetyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working in culturally diverse environmentsMedical Board Certification in PediatricsCertification must be obtained from a first-tier country (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa) in accordance with SCFHS classificationMinimum of 3 years of clinical experience following board certificationEligible for licensure and classification as a Consultant by SCFHS
