We are hiring a
Database Admin Engineer
to design, maintain, and support enterprise databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database performance, integrity, security, and availability while supporting development and operational teams

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexing
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with best practices
  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide technical support
  • Automate routine tasks and improve database reliability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with developers to design and optimize data structures
  • Maintain documentation and update schema/version records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or Engineer
  • Proficient in one or more DBMS platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with database backup, recovery, and high availability techniques
  • Strong understanding of SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization
  • Familiarity with security best practices and user access management
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SQL Profiler, Oracle OEM, Nagios)
  • Certifications like
    Oracle DBA
    ,
    Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator
    , or
    MySQL DBA
    are a plus
