: MCTS is a governmental organization mandated to oversee traffic affairs in Saudi Arabia. It is responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of strategies and initiatives under the National Transformation Program to enhance traffic safety.

About the Role
: Join us as a Senior Traffic Safety Engineer and make a real impact on shaping safer roads and communities. In this role, you will lead critical safety assessments and accident analysis while applying international best practices to design innovative engineering solutions. You will work closely with government authorities, regulators, and key stakeholders to align with national traffic safety visions such as Vision Zero and the National Strategy for Traffic Safety. Responsibilities
:

• Lead and conduct traffic safety studies and assessments, including Road Safety Audits (RSA), Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), Accident Analysis, and Blackspot Identification to enhance traffic safety outcomes.
• Apply traffic simulation software (e.g., PTV Vissim) to evaluate traffic management strategies, simulate driver behavior, and assess environmental and safety impacts.
• Manage projects effectively by applying best practices in performance and risk management (PMP, RMP, Six Sigma, OKR) to ensure successful project outcomes and sustainable improvements.
• Design and monitor safety dashboards and KPIs to track progress, measure performance, and enable data-driven decision-making.
• Foster stakeholder engagement and coordination with government authorities, regulators, and key partners to enhance collaboration and project success.
• Prepare high-quality reports, documentation, and board presentations, while contributing to awareness campaigns and national safety programs (Vision Zero, National Strategy for Traffic Safety).
• Provide innovative engineering solutions that reduce accident rates and improve overall road safety standards.

Qualifications
:

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation and Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Professional certifications or relevant training courses—such as Project Management, KPI, Risk Management, or equivalent—are highly desirable.
• Specialized training or certification in Road Safety (e.g., RSP, IRF-RATL, iRAP) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of road safety strategies and initiatives in line with international standards and national traffic safety visions and strategies.
• In-depth understanding of traffic safety regulations and Regulatory Compliance with the Saudi Highway Code (SHC), along with road safety audits, blackspot analysis, accident analysis, and preventive measures.
• Awareness of international and national initiatives such as Vision Zero and the National Strategy for Traffic Safety.
• Experience with project management methodologies, performance monitoring, and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with proven ability to engage stakeholders at different levels (government, regulatory bodies, consultants).

Work Environment
: The role requires flexibility and the ability to perform effectively under high-pressure conditions to meet targets. The work schedule is 5 days a week, 8 hours daily.
