Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jeddah for a Mechanical Engineering Technician. The role involves performing tasks such as reading and interpreting technical drawings, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and providing support for the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems. Additional duties include operating and maintaining machining and milling equipment to fabricate or repair parts, ensuring high standards of quality are met. Collaboration with engineers and team members to achieve project objectives is an integral aspect of this position.

Responsibilities :

  • Fire alarm systems and fire-fighting systems installation and maintenance.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Planning work sequence and execution phases.
  • Taking accurate measurements.
  • Preparing, routing, and installing EMT/PVC conduits.
  • Pulling wires for fire alarm systems and CCTV systems.
  • Installing fire alarm devices, CCTV cameras, and related accessories.
  • Proper use of cutting equipment.
  • Proper use of threading equipment.
  • Proper use of grooving equipment.
  • Executing hanging and fixing works for sprinkler networks.
  • Installing and assembling junction boxes, valves, and sprinkler heads.
  • Installing and routing UPVC/HDPE pipes.
  • Installing and assembling fire pumps and their accessories.
