Summary
Maximize the customer purchases, off take and profitability of SADAFCO products within Supermarket and Mini Market retail partners in all the countries that SADAFCO operates in by developing and expanding relationships with the customers.
Key Accountabilities
- In conjunction with the Head of Trade Marketing, develop the channel strategy for National customers by producing detailed customer plans including monthly and quarterly sales and financial targets through the team of Area Account Managers.
- In conjunction with the Area Account Managers, translate sales plans and activities for the channel and customers into sales forecasts to assist in the alignment of Demand forecast, Supply Forecast and production planning.
- Manage the execution of the agreed Trade channel plans and policies in regard to price, promotions and place within framework of the commercial strategy and channel budgets.
- Ensure that rebate, compensation and incentive budgets are controlled and tracked as per the agreed plans.
- Co-ordinate the collation of customer activities (new listings, special packs, flyer promotions, displays etc) to be included in the sales team bulletin to ensure clear communication and prompt execution of all initiatives.
- Closely monitor the field execution of the agreed channel plans in regard to visibility, price and promotions and identify opportunities to maximize visibility and sales.
- Develop the functional elements of the contracts, coordinate quarterly monitoring and ensure prompt processing of rebate payments.
- Establish productive and professional cross functional relationships in the National Key Accounts, specifically with regard to commercial and marketing.
- Manage and coordinate the process of negotiating and closing/renewing contractual agreements with National Key Accounts.
Job Requirements
- Educational level: Minimum Bachelor's degree although Master's degree will be preferable
- Specific diploma/education: Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Finance
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in sales management in FMCG/ retail
- Should have experience in Modern Trade (Key Accounts) channel is important
- Should have managed major national accounts at the head office level
- Good knowledge of markets and its developments
- Highly self-motivated professional
- Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic
