Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
  • Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
  • Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of low current systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, BMS, and data networks

  • Reviewing and verify installation works against approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes

  • Monitoring contractor performance and ensure quality control throughout the installation process

  • Identifying non-conformities and issue inspection reports with corrective action recommendations

  • Coordinating with MEP teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues

  • Maintaining accurate records of inspections, test results, and progress reports

  • Participating in testing and commissioning activities for low current systems

  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
