Opportunity

In SunPork's season of growth we have a new opportunity for a motivated and experienced Lead Miller to join our team based near Brinkley, SA.

Reporting to the Feedmill Manager, the purpose of this role is to play a key role in supporting safe, efficient feedmill operations – helping the team to meet production targets while identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance.

Description

About the Role

This opportunity works in our Feedmill located in Brinkley, South Australia, and is responsible for the following:

  • Monitor and operate manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
  • Record and report plan process data to ensure production targets are achieved
  • Follow standard operating procedures for raw material handling, storage and feed production
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment in optimal condition
  • Maintain high standards of workplace health, safety and hygiene
  • Ensure compliance with FeedSafe quality standards and promptly address any deviations
  • Support and guide team members, stepping into delegated responsibilities when required


Skills And Experiences

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 1 years' experience in feedmill operations
  • High attention to detail with the ability to recognise issues and enact solutions in line with company processes
  • Confident communicator who promotoes teamwork through clear guidance and inclusive collaboration
  • Has a Forklift Licence (desirable - but not necessary)
  • Working at Heights and Confined Spaces qualifications - huge bonus
