About the role

Our Engineering team is integrated in the Maintenance Department and focuses on improving the reliability of the assets through a long-term excellence maintenance strategy and Reliability Excellence in collaboration with other departments in the organization.

As a Reliability Engineer, you will work to support the maintenance team and ensure asset integrity planning is effectively implemented. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the plant assets reliability and have a positive impact on Operation Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) complying to the Solvay Life Saving Rules (SLSR) and local regulations. You will be accountable for: 

  • Review, support, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs and practices
  • Conduct studies to identify potential improvements in equipment and maintenance processes
  • Analyze repeated maintenance work and establish bad-actor data to develop prioritized reliability improvement plans
  • Collect, analyze, and report OEE data according to company standards
  • Provide technical support in reliability and troubleshooting of equipment issues
  • Implement the Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) Program
  • Implement the Reliability Excellence program

We offer a permanent contract based on on-site working mode.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. Relevant work experience minimum of 10 years of experience in Petrochemical/Chemical plants within Maintenance or Reliability fields (at least 5 years in Reliability). Master degree, as well as vibration analyst certificate CAT II is a plus.

Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical rotating equipment
  • Strong knowledge on the CBM analysis, able to interpret spectrum plot
  • Strong knowledge on Asset Criticality Analysis, FMEA, Bad Actors Management, RCA/ RCI methodology, and the use of other Asset Reliability tools
  • Strong knowledge of Root Cause Investigation (RCI) Method
  • Working knowledge of mechanical static, materials, and E&I disciplines.
  • Working knowledge in SAP and related engineering/maintenance databases and tools
  • Knowledge on Asset Integrity Management

Behaviors:

  • Strong contributor to building and maintaining a proactive safety and well-being culture
  • Ability to establish, monitor, and analyze key maintenance metrics/ KPI
  • Proficiency in conducting gap analyses and developing follow-up action plans

About the pay

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is SAR 325,000- SAR 406,000 per year in Saudi Arabia.

Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
