Job Summary:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for executing the company's procurement activities effectively and efficiently, ensuring all required materials, equipment, and services are sourced in a cost-effective, timely, and compliant manner. The role supports project execution across telecom and IT domains by ensuring reliable supply chain operations and strong vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in the development and implementation of procurement plans aligned with company objectives.
• Manage day-to-day procurement activities including sourcing, quotations, comparison, purchase order preparation, and vendor coordination.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service performance.
• Support negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure mutual benefit and compliance with company standards.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services required by projects and departments.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and department heads to clarify procurement requirements and priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, inventory, and other relevant data.
• Monitor supplier performance and assist in supplier evaluation processes.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
• Assist in budget tracking and cost control analyses related to procurement.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the telecommunications or IT industry.
• Strong knowledge of local and international supplier markets.
• Proficiency with procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office applications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English.
